The goal of this site is to support Agile community, i.e. everyone believing in Agile Manifesto and Lean Values. When we started our journey towards Agile and Lean, very few people heard about Scrum, sprints, retrospectives - it all felt like a new informal movement which was supposed to free us up from the heavyweight project management methodology. We felt that the principles which applied to project management in construction where there was no room for failure are not applicable to software, which is much more dynamic.
We were still planning for a year ahead, we were still afraid of making errors, but we already felt that we can do things faster, more efficiently, we can take risks, fail, and learn from our failures. There are values we believed in and the processes we put in place. There were organizational change management frameworks that we were exploring but most importantly, we were comfortable with questioning the status quo, we were developing courage to invest in innovation and creativity, to do things differently, and to build on what was happening. Check out this Agile Summary video. The goal of this site is to give back to the community by providing answers to your questions and helpful tips to support your Agile and Lean transformation. An example of enterprise Agile and Lean implementation is provided here.
We welcome you to reach out, share your experience, ask questions, and let us co-create a truly Agile world in software delivery and beyond!
